Chris Moore grew up working in the construction field with his father. While earning his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech, Moore participated in the cooperative learning program, alternating quarters between work and school at the company’s Atlanta office and field sites.

After graduation, Moore transitioned into management at CarolinaPower, an electrical contractor with 250 employees. He serves as chairman of the South Carolina Upstate Electrical Contractors Apprenticeship Program since 2008 and holds leadership positions with ABC Carolinas Apprenticeship Trustee and the Industry Advisory Board at Clemson University’s Nieri Department of Construction and Real Estate Development. He is also a member of C12 Leadership Forum and serves on the PPC Foundation Board of Directors.

In February 2025, CarolinaPower received national recognition from Associated Builders and Contractors for its work on Clemson University’s Memorial Stadium renovation. “It has been a great honor for the CarolinaPower team to be recognized,” Moore noted. CarolinaPower recently marked 25 years in business.
